Portuguese-inspired worldmusic
The music group "Extravagante" is one of the few Portuguese music groups in Germany; it brings to its audience well-known Portuguese music as well as original compositions with a Portuguese touch.
The songs tell a story of letting oneself drift about in yearning in an ocean of unbridled passion, of loss and hope, of the meandering of love between dream and reality and of the hope and the strength which love grants us.
The musical impact of these themes is in turns melancholy, ironic, lightly abstract or (as the band prefers) wild and passionate.
