Extravagante – "viagem da alma"
Extravagante's C.D. "viagem da alma" reflects a mixture of the cultures that come together in Portugal. Along with the many original compositions included which contain the many influences found in Portuguese music, the interpretations of the songs of José Afonsos stand out. The presentation through the combination of cello and guitar lend these works a unique charm and expressiveness.
We would like to recognize here the excellent contribution which our guest musicians have made to the overall form the C.D. has taken:
ZITO FERREIRA: Percussion, EVA VENTURA: Vocals,
MARIA CARVALHO and ANTÓNIO DE BRITO from TRIO FADO: Vocals

Janina Music Video
Plot: The singer of the band is in love with Janina and is on his way to see her in "Villa Nova de Mil Fontes" (a very beautiful location in Portugal which has been portrayed in the video through the use of a Berlin café).
He is a free spirit and very much attracted by the various amusements which lie along the way to his destination. As if that were not enough, his car has a flat tire and instead of trying to find a garage, the singer ends up in a bar called Algezur. As a result, he doesn't reach his sweetheart, who, tired of waiting, is finally picked up by the band's cellist.
